Prometheus (titan and he sided with zeus against his own family) is represented as the creator of humanity. Prometheus, first trick etiological myth- explains why something is the way it is. Prometheus uses this to steal fire from heaven. An eagle comes everyday and eats his liver but since he cant die. All the things that make up a civilization, makes humans different from animals. Its not a box, it a jar- pandoras box (picture) Picture- pandora being born on the earth, hermes the sword type thing in his hand.
