Document Summary

It"s not really a paradox, it just seems that way at first. Each twin sees the other one as moving, so she can claim that the other twin"s clock is running slower than her own than herself => paradox. When the twins reunite on earth, each one expects the other one to be younger. Light year: the distance light travels in one year; 1 light year = 9. 5 trillion km. Sending light pulse to each other seeing each other"s clock tick once every year . Fei"s flying outbound: flying away from the pulse. When fei"s clock is 4 years on his outbound trip, wei passes through 5 years. When fei"s clock is 4 years on his inbound trip, wei still passes through 5 years. => fei ages less: at the end of the trip, we are talking about the same reference of frame: home. It"s only a paradox if we pretend the two twins are interchangeable.
