Instead, focus on the most interesting aspect of your essay and educate the class about a particular area of research, a study, or a debate about your topic. You can use powerpoint, prezi, pdfs, video, images, music, white board, flip-charts, white board, handouts, etc as you see fit. Presenters must not use technology merely to dazzle and distract. You must include: 1) the research question, and 2) the thesis you are using for your essay. This can appear on your slides or in a handout, but it needs to be written down, not just read to the class. Presenters will be graded for organization, clarity, and scholarly focus. Be careful that your sources are scholarly, so youtube videos and the like must be treated as academic sources.
