Gender in the news: liberals are trying to pass a bill for folks who identify as trans or binary in so that discrimination against housing, employment, hate crime become illegal. Sophie trudeau: wanted a second assistant but there has been heavily debates about wanting a second assistant as she has all the help she supposedly needs. This is challenging the fairy tale that women can do it all and don"t need any workers. She is not paid for her work but is expected to fulfill her duties as being the wife of the prime minister. Due next week in class: select your text (1) Hand in title of text to your tas with critical connection. Drawing together on 3 concepts (gender, race and intersectionality) Syllabus will be your bibliography so it will be used for in-text citations unless you are using other research in which you will need to reference it.
