Essentialism: nature (sex), refers to genes and biology. When spoken about sex it wasn"t up until recently that we started studying it because it used to be tabooed and hidden. Erotiaphobic: people who have phobias against erotic things. People call the 20th century the sexual century, freud is primarily responsible for talking about sex more openly. Masters and johnsons examined sexual behaviour in a lab; discovered the physiology of arouses. Sherhite, a sex survey researcher; she looks into the actually behaviour of homosexuality. Freud is an essentialist, basis his human theory on nature, sees gender differences as biological differences. Testicular tissue: starts to produce the male hormone, testosterone. Nature or nurture; there are many debates on this. People say that male and females origins of behaviour are from nurture. The sex drive in humans is very powerful. People from different cultures find different things sexually attractive like feet or knees (lol)
