Tolerance & dependence: regular users finds tolerance to many of cannabis" behavioral and subjective effects. Changing perception of time; mindfulness (selective attention for the present moment; all the experiences you are having) will slow down time; if you dwell in past or future, people report times goes by quicker. Normally, we regulate time by tweaking one receptor: we can change that perception: cannabis dependence: meets with general dsm criteria for substance dependence. Cannabis withdrawal syndrome: irritability, anger, aggression, anxiety, difficulty sleeping, decreased appetite, and depressed mood. Health risks: cannabis cigarettes share a # of carcinogens with tobacco cigarettes. Cannabis smoke contains chemicals that may limit a user"s risk for lung and other cancers. Aside from cancer risk, cannabis smoking may increase the risk of respiratory diseases such as bronchitis and emphysema. Medical marijuana: medical cannabis: use of cannabis for treating medical conditions. Autoimmune disease: may provide greater tolerability than delta9-thc.
