Document Summary

Limited to the behaviours recorded by the test and/or situation. Important it(cid:859)s artificial in nature: most tests lack resemblance to actual day to day behaviour, moderate ecological validity, behavioural observations can be recorded quantitively or qualitatively. It is an estimate of it how accurate of an estimate depends on many variables (criterion validity) Important to also include and correlate qualitative observations with the quantitative data. Ideally, test scores should represent simple/basic kinds of behaviour. Idiosyncrasies: qualitative data helps paint the picture of the individual, reactions to the examination, approach to test problems, attention, perseverations, emotional state, quality of performance from moment to moment. Integrated data treating qualitative and quantitative data as different parts of the whole: taking test scores without comparing it to observation is objective but meaningless in individual applications. Clara rebello: complaints from patient, headache| forgetfulness| dizziness | poor concentration | fatigue |depression.
