One by one, i am going to present you images and you need to tell me how you feel. I am sure, you all experienced an emotion while looking at the images. The nature of that experience was shaped by a number of things, for example your mood. Another thing that can influence your emotional understanding of a stimuli. You also experience emotion in a number of ways. One thing that happens is body changes such as sweaty palms, faster heartbeats, etc. Emotions influence our behaviors, perceptions, and judgments- some of the reasons why we have emotions. Emotions influence the way we see the world. There are studies that show when you induce somebody with a positive mood, their judgments of other stimuli that are totally unrelated become more favourable. All of these questions that i pose such as why do we have emotions, etc. , are questions that we are going to answer in the course.
