Social obligation - expectations of responsibility to in-group members (eg. family, social network, friends) We engage in mimicry to be liked and seen as like them . In the west, the spark is vital, we meet people who do not meet all of our expectations, yet we still fall in love with them! East: love is a privilege; west: love is a choice.
