Biological evolution is the replication of genes while cultural evolution is the replication of ideas. Longevity (life of our genes or memes over a long period of time). It has to be sustained to be replicated. Genes survival of the fittest memes also have to be maintained long enough to survive/to replicate. There is a popularity component that makes it more easy to replicate.
