Document Summary

Things that look at an angle have distortions. Things that are further away are higher than things that are closer to us. Objects are larger in the front and smaller in the back. The fact that things farther away seem to be higher has to do with gravity. Has to do with stuff on the ground plane. We are more tuned to images in the lower visual field than the upper visual field. Lower visual field helps to perceive 3d images. Has to do with sizes and things become smaller when it goes lower in depth. Parallel lines that converge at one point in space. Linear perspective influences what you pay attention to. This shows how an artist tries to get linear perspective. Vantage point is where the eye should be to see an image. Put stuff on the side and centre so that foreshorte(cid:374)i(cid:374)g a(cid:374)d le(cid:374)gthe(cid:374)i(cid:374)g does(cid:374)(cid:858)t look (cid:449)eird. We are tolerant to seeing things on the side.
