If you look out into the visual world, based on what you see in the surroundings we can tell what is going on in our brain. So how can looking into the visual world tell us what is going on in the brain. Spatial vision: refers to our ability to resolve or discriminate spatially defined features. Primary vision deals with conscious vision (yes unconscious vision also occurs). One metaphor for analysis is gutenberg printing press. In 1439 the printing press with moving tiles was invented. This invention had a huge impact in europe in the 15th century. So language can be represented as text (language is actually a sensory stimulus).
