They argue and fight with one another. Behaviorism: what we think of as mental states are really just behavioural states. Mental state = sth that goes on in your mind. Behavioural states = ways tha we behave or predispose to behave: it is a mistake to think of the mind and the body as two distinct entities, there is no: ghost in the machine .
