Queer analysis (cid:862)(cid:395)uee(cid:396)(cid:863)- the term used to describe queer theory it is a plujoritive literally strange odd or outside the norm taking on the negative and something positive. Queering ideas of sexuality, gender, what is normal and what is deviant. Most people do(cid:374)(cid:859)t (cid:271)e o(cid:374) the eithe(cid:396) e(cid:374)d of (cid:271)i(cid:374)a(cid:396)(cid:455) connects to feminism- to shake up our comfortable categories the idea is that making the strange familiar and the familiar strange key elements destabilizing binaries. Queer theory wants us to question the boudnaries of sex , gender and sexuality. There is a whole range of sexualities. Is anything that assumes heterosexuality is the norm and anything not this is a deviant or not normal. We tend assume heterosexuality until proven other wise. When we see a character on media we assume they are heterosexuality and ask if they have boyfriend or girl. That we sort of unconsciously think of us. You can relate it back to cultural theory.
