All these three things are connected to food. The world population took off noticeably after 1950 especially in developing countries. In the last few years the number slides slides. This is based on the caloric intake for a sedentary life. But hungry people need to go out and work and find food. If you adjust it for the real caloric needs, 1. 35 billion are hungry. Has not changed over the past 40 years. Because population > food, demand is forcing up the price of food. Food prices are 35% higher than the spike in 2007. For population to cause increase in food prices, you have to demonstrate two things. 1) population growth is greater than the growth of food supplies.
