What is a systematic review, evidence syntheses (s-11) A way of combining information from multiple studies that have investigated the same thing, to come to an overall understanding of what was found. Helps determine how effective a certain treatment or drug is, or how people experienced a health condition or treatment. Can be used to answer a wide range of questions: Other types include guidelines, scoping reviews, rapid reviews (not covered in this class) A review of a clearly formulated question that uses systematic and explicit methods to identify, select, and critically appraise relevant research, and to collect and analyze data from the studies that are included in the review. If not it can very well be characterized as a literature review (s-20)
