Individual determinants of health: discuss individual determinants of health. There isn"t one measure of health; although life expectancy is the most common way, there is more than one. Life expectancy is different based on how old you are; statistics canada showed that at birth men were expected to live up to 78 years and women up to 83 years. However, once at 65 men are only expected to live to 83 and women 81.
