Document Summary

The economic miracle : there was annual economic growth of over 5% per year. From agrarian revolution to green revolution: a series of transformation that happened in the country side that sought to create a capitalist agriculture/system. Improved seeds would lead to the development of more food, and it would assist in bringing water to mexican farmers (as well as canada and the united states) If you added fertilizer to the plants, it would also help the plants too. As more food was being grown, weeds and pesticides were causing problems. There was a huge jump in productivity (lots of food was being grown) During world war ii, mexico was going hungry because most of the good that was being grown was being sent off to feed the soldiers. What moves people to the cities are the higher wages (higher paycheck), more job opportunities, etc.
