In developing countries, ecological footprint growing fast (ex. In north america, 4. 5 hectares/land need to produce resources and assimilate waste we create. Need 26 billion ha to live like americans, but only have 8. 8 billion on earth. West needs to reduce ecological footprint for developing world to enjoy a better lifestyle. As developing starts to consume resources: more ecological instability and ethnic cleansing.
