Her curiosity makes her able to trap the hand in the well: the other mother, two diferent characters: nice, treaing coraline nicely turned into a terrifying women, coraline"s desire for being loved by parents, butons eyes: Being loved is being consumed; become a possession of the other mother; turning from a subject to an object.
