Document Summary

Nature doesn"t like mountains and gravity, water, ice tears those mountains down and produces a lot of sediment. All the little sedimentary particles which have been derived by the breaking of other rocks get withered. The withering process consumes/ uses a lot of carbon dioxide and the carbon dioxide would be in the atmosphere. There is a distinct differentiation between the onset building of himalayans and mark reductions in the amount of co2 in the atmosphere which lead to a cooling planet. Quite recently the ice age: pacific rim of fire- pacific ocean crust has been destroyed and there are a lot of hazards, a lot of big volcanos, big earthquakes. 1: stage 3 is a mature ocean, age of the crust, increases systematically as we get towards the margins. The new crust being produced is pushing that new crust apart. As it is being pushed apart the thickness would increase.
