First tale is largely missing , based on the other it seems to be a tale about magic. End of the marvel in the time of king djoser. Only part of the end, with khufu"s offerings to djoser and the magician is preserved. Stories are placed in a real historical setting not all together reliable as actual history though. Second tale: the marvel which happened in the time of king nebka. Narrator is the second son of khufu. Nebka was a mysterious king before djoser :founder of the 3rd dynasty. Protagonist is the priest webaoner, a lector-priest (someone who reads: the one who carries the ritual book ) Web"s wife is having an affair with the townsman they have rendez-vous at the garden pavilion by the water.
