Evolution is just a theory, not a fact. A theory is not a guess and is a well-established expectation of our observations. We use the word theor(cid:455) when we"re tr(cid:455)ing to e(cid:454)plain a law. With the case of evolution, we can prove it with diff. Evolution: the change of gene distribution overtime: things evolve, evolution happens gradually, speciation occurs, all species share a common ancestor, much of evolutionary change was caused by natural selection. Predictions based on evolution: there should be evidence in fossil records, within lineages, we should see changes in morphology, vestigial characters, natural selection transitional forms and changes. **darwin brought back birds with him and labeled them based on species (finches, warblers, sparrows etc. ). He noticed that they are all finches, but slightly different form each other.
