Fitness is the lifeime reproducive success of an organism. Adaptaion is traits that increase the itness of organism relaive to other without that trait. Wild type is the most common form of gene in nature. Fixed allele is an allele that is present at a frequency of 100% in a populaion, no other gene. Fixaion is the process by which an allele increase in frequency unil it is present at 100% in a populaion. It is ulimate source of all heritable variaion. And it appears randomly, and they usually decrease the itness.
