Each of us has his or her own personal genome. It differs from all that have existed before and from all that will come after. Transmission genetics = manner in which genetic differences among individuals are passed from generation to generation. Looked at traits and how these traits were transmitted from gen to gen. Pea plants has both male and female parts, he can control which is female or male. Started out true-breeding strains, plants that have been yellow for many generations ~10. They are now a p1 parental generation, f1 generation is a cross that occurs between p1. The same outcome resulted from reciprocal crosses, in which mendel interchanged which parent (male or female) exhibited each trait = does(cid:374)"t (cid:373)atter which pla(cid:374)t is the pare(cid:374)t. Recessive trait would still appear however it is mostly, dominant. The equal separation of alleles of a gene into different gametes; half get one allele, the other half het the other allele.
