Most def of text involve linguistic structures: words, signs, phrases, clauses, sentences woven" together with an intended meaning that is open to interpretation. A piece of written or printed material regarded as conveying the authentic or primary form of a particular work, regarded in terms of its content rather than its physical form, typically forming a connected piece of work. 1: meaning/content is paramount, can be read/analyzed and invites interpretation. Largely used in reference to word and linguistic structures, is a neutral word (literary: value judgement; novel: de ne a text) linguistics structures or sets of signs woven together. Text (for some theorists, text is not neutral) Text is (not limited) that social space which leaves no language safe, outside, nor any subject of the enunciation in a position as judge, master, analyst, confessor, decoder . Work can be held in the hand, text is held in the language. Work is the whole product, text is in the linguistic structure.
