What is clear to us is globalization. Today there is the expansion of the middle class. Terrorism connections throughout the world so it needs a global solution. A state cannot do many things like it could have done in the past un is like a universal government. States lose sovereignty since it is influenced by other states. Difficult to find a definition that will fit, it used descriptively. Used in different ways across the world. People"s behaviour is changing compared to how it was years ago, the roles are changing. Need a strong concept of globalization to understand it all, difficult to find one. How problem affects certain things in the population but need to think of the future globally. Citizenship is under scrutiny not sure who you are. Human rights/disability can be defined differently in different places. People are aging and pension plan is not enough. Technology is having an effect, cell phones creating urgency.
