Masculinity as representation vs. masculinity as practice: successfully pulling off a crime is a way of doing masculinity in terms of thrill and skill. Dominance over other men physical and more esteemed form of masculinity. Masculinity & crime: masculinity can motivate crime, masculinity can give crime meaning, masculinity can facilitate crime.
