The two faces of law: law as a normative system (natural law) Law is a set of standards for human behaviour that reflect and express society"s deepest values. Law is morality (morality is relative, based on religion, or have a secular view, about humanity) Abortion (based on religion: would be illegal, based on secular view: legal: law as a game (jurisprudential view, legal positivism) The view of law that law school teaches lawyers. Ex. who plays the game the best, it"s about who wins. Lawyers are taught to disregard emotions to win their case.
