Scientific approach to the understanding of the world. Worship, dating, human non-conformist [etc. ] is a form of human behaviour. Scientific investigations are rule bound such as data collection, hypothesis testing, formulating thesis, observing, etc. The beginning of scientific activity comes from curiosity. We need to see our god superior but, at the same time, similar to us (b) these supernatural forces never leave us alone. Due to their own nature they are inherently weak or wicked. Harmony, order, normality, happiness, enlightenment, peace of mind, salvation (the most important thing in religion; majority of religions offer their people salvation), etc. Disorder, chaos, unhappiness, darkness, abnormality, suffering, damnation, punishment, etc. By humans excommunication, burning at the stake, etc. They have different powers, & control different spheres. (ie. ancient greece & rome) Mostly found in abrahamic religions (islam, christianity, judaism) When one causes deviance, it is because they are influenced or possessed by witches or demons.
