Higher education supplies us with that opportunity. Could open up new and superior ways of comprehending the world. Could clarify place in society, how you might best maneuver through it and contribute to improving. Social causes are distinct from physical and emotion causes. Occurs periodically and with increasing frequency in popular culture. A sociological school of thought that stresses how human behaviour is governed by social structures that are based mainly on shared values and that contribute to social stability. Social phenomena persist if they contribute to social stability and die off if they don"t. Viewpoint: fashion trends come and go because they enable social inequality to persist. Rich people wear expensive clothing so they can distinguish themselves from people who are less well off.
