Stratification and social inequality are talked about together because social inequality (the access you have, your demographics, your social class) contributes to stratification. The idea of a ranking and experiencing different things depending on your ranking. Patterns may seem varied comparing to the us but there are some similarities. Bottom 20% are lower class and top 20% are high class. High class is getting 10x more than most of the population. 70% of wealth belong the top 20% of high class families.
