Whole point of technology is to make life easier. Risks arise from processes of science and technology. These accidents have become such a regular art of life that we call them normal accidents. Print, radio, television, and other communication technologies that reach many people. Media: communication does not take place through face-to-face interaction but it is instead mediated through technology. Tv is still the widest used media source. As your income goes up your tv time goes down but internet time goes up. Personal relationship with the bible (meant people needed to start reading the bible) Ideas can drive technological change: capitalist industrialization. Literate and numerate worker (hard to run a society without this)
