The ambiguity inherent in every religion: there are different ways to look at every religion and different ideas within every ideology of religion. In each religion, there are different opinions and interpretations existing at once. The problem of politics: politics takes a different viewpoint from islam they can possibly butt heads. The problem of islamophobia: especially after 9/11: people think of muslims as terrorists and are afraid of them, hate crimes are committed against muslims on a day-to-day basis. Islamophobia having hatred towards a person just because he/she is a muslim: this causes more problems in spreading islam and teaching others as well as learning more about it yourself. Due to this islam is caught between two extreme discourses: To explore the various voices, stories and interpretations that are in between these two meta- discourses, ones that are being silenced.
