A sentence that begins with religion is the belief in supernatural beings . Most people believe that an essential definition of religion does not exist. Looks to describe how a religion functions. This class will be considering the functional definition of religion. According to nye, belief in religion is essentially cognitive mentally processed (one"s mindset). With this destruction of the negative world, will come a rebirth of a better world: from destruction comes creation. Hall of bulls, lascaux caves c. 15,000 13,000 bce: Shows that people were worshipping animals , nature cults : reflection of belief system about those animals. Story of the tale of prince sonam tob (name means the power of merit in tibetan) . Hungry ghosts have some role in this story.
