Civil trials mostly go with judge only trials. 2/3 criminal cases that go to court are resolved without a trial (plea guilty) 1/3 criminal cases that go to court are disposed by trials. How: jury"s task to determine which of two contested realiies are real. Not supposed to use inadmissible informaion from in or outside the courtroom.
