Document Summary
Born prewired or predisposed to behave socially, this proposition is old and stems from evolutionary theory. From evolutionary perspective, that predisposition is important for our survival. Different from reflexes because they can be modified by environment: knee jerking forward when hit with hammer by doctor, there is no long term learning taking place, this is a neurological adaptation of getting habituated and the knee no longer jerking if continue to hit with hammer, but after time, it will jerk again, fixed action changes over time. Genetically related individuals should be similar phenotypically (result of the operation of genetic influences, functioning in a given environment) to the extent that genes influence behavioural patterns: if indeed genes play bug role, then you could say that people with same genes should have same intelligence and the other way around, different genes = different levels of intelligence.
