Plan for today was for a half class lecture on intelligence & a video. She"ll print out slides & perhaps use someone"s laptop & use it to play the video & get notes off portal. We"re starting with a video & then as we talk about the stuff, we"ll see how this stuff applies. Her video wasn"t working as well but it"s on youtube in 6 fixed parts so they"re watching the video in parts. She"s printing out some notes but in the meantime we"re watching the video. Just as a bit of a background since we don"t have any info going into this, this video is intended to show us the problems with intelligence testing. So we seem to have this idea of what standardized intelligence tests do & don"t do. Everyone at least in a scholastic environment uses the same types of intelligence test. This video just shows us the problems with that.
