Many studies have examined correlation between self-reports and informant reports. Self informant agreement is important to validate personality measures. These studies can also be used to determine the information that people use to rate their own other"s personality. 100 adults were videotaped while entering a room, sitting down and reading standard text. the participants than provided self reports of their personality.
