Adolescence report that friends are more important than parents. Relationship strength usually transitions from parents, friends, then romantic partner. Aggressive friends tend to rub off on us and we tend to become more aggressive. Adolescence are most vulnerable to the negative influence of friends. Preschoolers proximity is the key factor in choosing friends.
