If two iv are length of words and distractions; these can be applied to all 8 subjects. Have the same 8 people do each of the 4 conditions. This is when you compare two different groups of people as one of your ivs (e. g. gender, age, culture, etc) and you"d need at 4 people of each type. We should see 5 tables for lab 8. We are doing a free recall experiment; we can recall the word in any order. A serial recall is when we remember the words in the order that they appeared. The recognition experiment will be with 80 pictures and you have 2 mins to study all 80 pics. 40 pics will be given to you and 40 new ones will also be given. You have to say whether it was a picture you studied or not.
