Document Summary

Check if the hypothesis is right or wrong through experimental methods. Everyone running the experiment is the same so you don"t have any other variables affecting the final result. Need to be able to replicate the experiment many times so we have confidence in the outcome. Ability to take the data from the experiment and relate it to the population. Make sure that the sample of study you are using is the actual sample that you are representing. Need to take the data outside the lab. What happened in the lab should also happen in the real world. Don"t need to answer the questions to the subject cause people lie to look good. i. e. ) invalid test is polygraph measures stress, not lies. Older people are more bias and utm students are less as they are exposed to more biodiversity. All of these are important to do when experimenting. You know what happens but you don"t know what causes it.
