Changing demographics: due to immigration, communication, media, economy and transportation, cultural mixing is likely to further increase multiculturalism and within-culture variance. Conflict and peace: intercultural conflict competence entails the mindful management of emotional frustrations and conflict interaction struggles due primarily to cultural, linguistic, or ethnic group membership differences. Ethics: with interaction between different cultures, it is essential to have an understanding of the various rules and traditions of how different cultures operate to find common ground on what can be considered as fundamentally wrong/right.
