To be an effective manager you must be able to form an opinion, give your own ideas and make a good decision. A manager is responsible for making decisions under conditions of uncertainty about how to get scarce resources and trying to achieve organizations goals. Planning is where managers choose goals, identify actions to attain those goals and give responsibility to individuals. Strategizing is the process of thinking about what strategy the organization should take to reach their goals.
