Almost all flat glass today is made using this method: float glass: high quality glass, smooth surfaces. Container glass: made from the same ingredients as flat glass, then molded into bottles and jars, coloring agents may be added, has a shorter lifespan than flat glass, so more is produced. Other: glass fibers, optical glass, decorative glass, light bulbs.
