Gravity = the attractive force that one object exerts on the other. Matter = the substance of the universe it takes up space and you can feel it. An object that contains more mass, contains more matter. Density = amount of mass occupying a given volume of space. Weight = the force that acts on an object due to gravity (the mass of an object determines its weight) Star = an immense ball of incandescent gas that emits intense heat and light. Giant planets : jupiter, saturn, uranus, neptune (outer planets) terrestrial planets: mercury, venus, earth and mars (inner planets: (rock surrounding a ball of metallic iron alloy) Moon = sizeable body locked in orbit around a planet. Waves = disturbances that transmit energy from one point to another in form of periodic motions.
