Document Summary
Weather is the atmospheric conditions over a short period of time and small geographic areas. Climate is patterns of average atmospheric conditions across large geographic regions and long periods of time. Climate is what we expect; whether is what we get. Air mass is a large volume of air that is homogeneous in temperature and humidity. Front is the boundary between air masses that differ in temperature, moisture and density and it is named for the air mass that is arriving. Warm front is where warm air moves in to replace cold, dry air that moves away. Cold front is where cold, dry air pushes into warmer, moister air. When you have a warm front coming in, you get a misty day. The three things that causes wind to blow are;
