Wct expanded onto the berne convention rules: berne convention: important international agreement governing copyright issues among different nations (first signed in 1886. ) If it has an actual created base, the law can include it as one of the subjects of the copyright law: wct treaty rights of authors, the right of distribution- Can take form of traditional publication, sales. to authorize publication distribute or circulate author works: the right of rental (computer programs, cinematic works and sound recordings) Authorizes the right to allow rental to public of the author"s work: the right of communication to the public- work publically either wireless or wired. Can be done on-demand, online, radio station etc. Digital locks: to adopt the measure necessary to ensure the application of the treaty.
