De nitions states that culture is a guide to action. Culture is a guide for interpreting these action. Definition= culture is not only observable behaviour but, the shared ideals, values, and beliefs that people use to interpret experience and generate behaviour and that are re ected by their behaviour. 2 components to the de nition: 1- it is observable behaviour, 2- you cannot observe ideals and values directly. These can only be observed by inferences.
