Human by large, are sexually dimorphic, meaning there are difference between us that tell us who and what we are as genders. Humans are said to be exceptionally dimorphic: males are taller, heavier skeletons, more muscle, greater grip strength, proportionately larger hearts and lungs, and a greater aerobic work capacity. Focus on the meanings of genders and the roles they play in societies among various peoples around the world. What it means to be female and male varies greatly from one society to another. The roles that men and women do varies greatly as well. How we think about being male and female differ remarkably across the globe.
